Painting

These are highlights from a series of over 70 abstract collage paintings entitled “Divided Lines.” These paintings were made by creating abstract paintings on paper with watercolor, ink, and colored pencil and then cutting them apart into smaller square pieces. The smaller pieces were reorganized and joined together to make a new image. The new images evoke references to ritual, chance, adversity, collaboration, connection, community and harmony.
