Hi, I’m Laura. I am a Philadelphia-based artist and freelance illustrator creating vibrant, nature-inspired illustrations for stationery and surface design.
My background is in fine art, with a BFA in Painting from Tyler School of Art, Temple University. While my early work focused on abstract painting and collage, my focus shifted toward illustration as I rediscovered the natural world through the eyes of my daughter. Inspired by childhood hours spent exploring meadows with a field guide, I now find inspiration hiking through both local woodlands and urban landscapes, sketching and photographing the wildlife that I see.
Beyond my studio practice, I am a member of Illustrators for Hire, a curated global directory of professional freelancers, and InLiquid, a Philadelphia-based artist network. You can also shop my stationery collection at Chloe Cat Design on Etsy.
